Side passing is an impressive skill where a horse moves sideways while the horse body is staying straight. This movement combines forward and side motion, balance, coordination, and the responsiveness to the rider's aids. Mastering this technique enhances the horse’s physical abilities and strengthens the bond mentally between horse and rider.

Education of the side pass effectively requires patience, consistency, and step by step methods. It's more than just a simple movement; it demonstrates the partnership between horse and rider. Mastering this skill improves your horse's athletic ability and responsiveness, while also enhancing communication and understanding with your horse.
